teeny tiny, BIG problem

After a looooooong sleepless night with a sick baby Owen and a busy on-the-go morning I was looking forward to coming home and taking it easy, maybe even getting a nap, but it was not to be. Mark came home around noon in horrible, HORRIBLE pain and vomiting. So he went to the ER where he spent about 3 1/2 hours getting the pain under control and learning he had a kidney stone. They sent him home with some serious pain meds and told him it should come soon. Thankfully it was all over by 9am the next morning. The bad news is there's another one in his kidney that could come any time between now and whenever! He's pretty excited about that! Crazy to think something so small can cause so much pain!We were so lucky that my mom and Matt were here because I was at the grocery store when he got home so Matt was able to take him to the ER. Even if I had been home I'm pretty sure he would not have been agreeable to getting the kids somewhere before I took him so that would have meant dealing with 3 kids and a sick daddy at the ER, FUN! It was nice to leave the two older ones home and go be with him while they figured it out.

As a side note they weren't surprised he had kidney stones given that both Mom and Dad Kohler have had them so Kohler kids beware!

Yuck so sorry! Glad it was over quickly!
