Suburban Jungle

While doing a school project for Landon I was going through our pictures and came across this one. I realized we never put it on here and meant to because we thought it was pretty funny, so better late than never!

You may recall a previous post about Mason's shoes that he had worn holes in the toes of. Well one day, before I was able to get him some new ones, he went out to play with Landon and the other kids in the neighborhood. Of course they found the only puddle for miles around and played in it the entire time they were out. Even rainboots would have a hard time keeping little feet dry under those circumstances so Mason's shoes never stood a chance. Once we finally coaxed him back inside and got his shoes off this is what we discovered...Who knew you could get jungle rot in the suburbs? He was so funny! He wanted mom and dad to make his feet right again instantly and refused to walk on them until the wrinkles were gone.

That's too cute! I love that it bothered him sooo much. I can see one of my littles doing the same thing. ;)
