Have a look at this...

I'm sitting there watching TV and Mark says to me "Amy, come here" with that "I've found something" look in his eye, uh, okay (for future reference don't go) and then he shows me this...You might be thinking, oh what a cute little spider...

Oh, look now he's looking at me...but then, we went all CSI on it...

That's right, it's only about 2 inches long, not to mention the big fat body and fat little legs, imagine a baby tarantula. I've seen big spiders but they are usually all spindly, with skinny little legs and a smaller body, not big and fat. I'm pretty sure this is the biggest spider I have ever seen living out in the free world. Fortunately it was outside, knocking at the front door to be let in. Finding this thing inside my house would have been 100 times worse than finding a snake. As you can see, the spider did not win. There was no squishing, I hosed it with some toxic chemical and we watched it slowly die. No one at our house deals with spiders, they give us all the creeps and squishing is the worst creepy feeling! So this was pretty much the only option, there was no way I was going to squish it and neither was Mark.

Thanks for sharing, really I totally appreciate it. NOT!!! Good thing Aaron didn't see this or he would be the one crapping his pants! He does not deal well with spiders, I have to take care of them! Yeah for you and NOT ME!!

Ewwww!!! Spiders are the WORST!!! We had a monster in our appt at college once and I didn't sleep well for WEEKS! We didn't have any spray and it took us 15 minutes to figure out how to kill it. We were afraid it might spatter!
