Go Team!

We are in the thick of Landon's soccer season and had high hopes for this weekend's games since the others have been a bust. The first week he was having one of "those" days, whiny, grouchy and not in the mood to play (apparently he inherited his mom's love of mornings). The second week got rained out and last week he had just gotten his booster shots the day before so his leg was a little sore from the tetanus booster (it was so funny to watch him hobblin' around). So this weekend he had a make-up game last night (for the one that got rained out). He was totally into it and did really well until the second half, the poor little guys had to play the entire game because only three kids showed up so they were pretty tired of it by then. Today was their regularly scheduled game. He had a blast and did great, he even scored two goals! He was so proud of himself, it was awesome to see his confidence grow! We finally got a game we all enjoyed. He's all excited now to score some more goals next week. Here's some shots of the action.

The glasses are totally sweet!!! You have got the coolest kid on the field! I have never seen a kid play soccer wearing sunglasses. So smart! That's why he scored 2 goals, he could actually see!

Youth soccer has to be one of the cutest things ever! Second only to tee ball. :)
