I got the thing into a box and set it outside as a little surprise for Mark when he got home. But the surprise was foiled when I went out to show him and the snake had tipped the box over and escaped. Apparently I should have set it free in the basement because later that same day as I went down to do some laundry I saw a fat little mouse scurry off under the stairs. Ugggghhhh!!!!!!

Home Invasion
This last week was pretty eventful for us. Aunt Lynne came to visit for a few days (that's not the home invasion part, we had fun with her), and on Tuesday she made a little bit of a discovery at our house. I was out in the backyard with Mason and Lynne comes out and very calmly says "Amy, there's a snake in the house." How do you respond to that?!? I thought she was smoking something because how on earth would there be a snake in my house!!! So I go in and sure enough, I found this little fella. She said it just slithered out from behind the dishwasher, we think maybe it came in where the A/C hose comes into the house. At any rate, not something you want to find in your house on a regular basis.

I can't believe how calm you were! I probably would've left the house until Aaron caught the thing!
