We took off and went camping for a few days this weekend while Papa is here visiting. Mark broke out the .22 to take along and let Landon shoot for the first time. He thought it was pretty cool, and even Mason thought he needed to be in on the fun. Landon also got to shoot Papa's pistol but didn't enjoy that quite as much because it was a little louder than the rifle. There are so many old mines around there that Mark and Papa decided to pan for gold in the creek to pass some time, they found a few little flakes but didn't quite strike it rich. Landon took his bike and basically rode in a 20 foot circle around the camp for three days, who'd thought that could be so much fun! He was seriously disappointed when it got too dark at night to ride anymore. It was lots of fun but two very dirty boys and one long, bumpy car ride later we were pretty tuckered out from it all.
