A couple of weeks ago I took the boys to the zoo with some friends that live in a different town and have a different zoo than the one we usually frequent. Here they had a raised walkway where you were eye level with the giraffes and they let you feed them crackers! It was so cool, the boys thought it was pretty great.
This is a trout pond at the front of the grizzly bear exhibit. Mason really enjoyed this part, if you couldn't tell.
Here's Mason contemplating whether he should touch this wallaby.
This was pretty creepy. They had a glass wall overhead so the mountain lions could walk over you or get right down next to you. If you look closely you can see one's head below that log right next to the glass. You could get nose to nose with it!
