Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

So I wake up this morning and think to myself, it's a little chilly in here today. I didn't think too much of it because it got cold last night and the upstairs can get pretty cool. So I didn't check the thermostat right away. After awhile I go downstairs and realize it is much colder down there than normal and look at the thermostat, it says it's 60 degrees in here and blinking like it does when the furnace is supposed to come on. I think great, somehow the pilot light has gone out and I'm going to have to manufacture a way to relight it. So I go down in the basement to check and the pilot light is fine. I sit there rather puzzled for a minute and then remember that Mason aka Mr. Busy Hands had been in the basement doing some laundry with me last night. The furnace has a switch on the side to turn it on or off and it happens to be at perfect Mason level. Lesson learned!

All this a couple days after he pushed the call help button in an elevator we happened to be riding in. Mark suggested we get him a straight jacket for Christmas. I've said it before and I'll say it again...it's a good thing he's cute!
