We are back in the real world after a 10 day hiatus to see the family. We had a good time and got to do lots of fun things but it was a long time to be gone. To give you an idea we put about 1800 miles on the minivan in 10 days. A list of highlights: watching the awesome fireworks show at G & G Kohlers, riding the 4-wheeler at G & G Davis', playing at the "beach", and touring Minnetonka cave. We took Landon fishing for the first time, he thought it was great and caught a ton of fish, but like any 4 year old got tired of it after about an hour. We also took Landon to ride in Papa's "tractor", he thought that was pretty cool too. It's always fun to take the kids and let them experience a little bit of how our childhood was since they are growing up with a totally different lifestyle than we did being here in the burbs of the big city. A list of not-so highlights: getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, we don't see many of those here in the burbs but they were awful at the grandparents houses, and of course all the driving, I think mom hates it worse than the kids.
We would like to give a shout out to Beth and Aaron for taking us out for a much needed night on the town, it was awesome and helped rejuvenate us a little bit for the drive home. Now it's back to real life!

That's so fun! I haven't seen your Dad in AGES!!!!
I'm glad you had a good trip. I feel like such a bad friend we have been so self-absorbed with our remodeling that I didn't even know you were here. My sister is moving out here in about 3 weeks to live with us & we have frantically been trying to put the house back together. Wish we could have seen you!...& a minivan?...where have I been? I have got to do better at keeping in touch! Talk to you soon.
