This soccer season we had two players, so two practices, two games every. single. week. The boys loved playing but I'm pretty happy to have Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings back to ourselves. We experienced two very different types of soccer playing. Owen was content to just run in the general direction the ball was going and contact with the ball was not essential as far as he was concerned. What a goofball! At least he had fun.
Mason on the other hand actually played the game. And he was pretty good at it. It's way more exciting to watch once their team starts to understand how to really play.
Now that we have our Saturdays back we can do more important things like sleep in and play in the leaves.
