I saw little nubs of front legs starting to sprout yesterday afternoon and this was what we found this morning. Sure was fast! When I showed the boys Mason exclaimed, "We did it! Hooray!" Now we just have to wait for the tail to disappear and for him grow some more. (He's still pretty small, his body is about the size of my pinkie fingernail.)

We did it!
You may recall that we became the proud owners of a tadpole a little over 3 months ago. We were so excited to watch him grow into a frog. With promises of the metamorphosis taking only 6-12 weeks, you can imagine our disappointment when nearly 3 months had gone by and all the little guy had done was get bigger and change color. Then about 2 weeks ago we started to see some little legs sprouting! Can you see them, under his tail? (click on the pic to see it bigger)
