Dreaming of a White.....Halloween?

This is the view from our back door today...That's right! We are smack in the middle of our first big snow storm complete with a snow day from school and it's not even Halloween. I think I'm so bummed about it because a) I don't feel like I got a summer since I was so hugely pregnant and avoided the outdoors like the plague and b) my sweet little Landon is not so sweet when he's running through the house like a wild animal, getting his brother all hyped up to do the same or bugging him so that he'll scream at the top of his lungs. I have got to find a more constructive and QUIET outlet for this kid's energy if we are going to survive the winter.
