It has been a crazy mild winter here and we were in serious need of the usual spring storm. With March almost over we were wondering if it would come at all but finally on Thursday it did! It had been so long Mason must have forgotten what snow was because he sat at the window all morning looking out saying, "Snow!" We got about 12 inches in about 12 hours, it was great! Daddy even got sent home from work because of blizzard conditions. Later that night the boys went out to help daddy shovel once the snowfall and wind had calmed down.
Mason loves to go out in the snow but gets frustrated easily because we can't get his thumbs in the thumb slot in his mittens so he basically has no hands!
Landon thinks his little boy sized shovel is the greatest!
This was the backyard Friday morning after the storm. The snow was pretty much all gone by yesterday but we got another inch this morning, it will probably all be gone by tomorrow. That's pretty normal spring weather here!
